Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB)
A toxicology database that focuses on the toxicology of potentially hazardous chemicals. It provides information on human exposure, industrial hygiene, emergency handling procedures, environmental fate, regulatory requirements, nanomaterials, and related areas.

Haz-Map
An occupational health database designed for health and safety professionals and for consumers seeking information about the adverse effects of workplace exposures to chemical and biological agents. The main links in Haz-Map are between chemicals and occupational diseases.

HCUPnet
A free, on-line query system based on data from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP). It provides access to health statistics and information on hospital inpatient and emergency department utilization.

Health Technology Assessment
Brings together details on ongoing health technology assessments (studies of the medical, social, ethical, and economic implications of healthcare interventions). HTA is produced in collaboration with the INAHTA Secretariat, based at SBU, Sweden.

Inter-University Consortium for Political & Social Research
ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction, and offers training in quantitative methods to facilitate effective data use. ICPSR preserves data, migrating them to new storage media as changes in technology warrant. In addition, ICPSR provides user support to assist researchers in identifying relevant data for analysis and in conducting their research projects.

JAMA Network
Peer-reviewed medical journal published 48 times a year by the American Medical Association. It publishes original research, reviews, and editorials covering all aspects of the biomedical sciences. The Network provides access to the Archives of Dermatology, Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, Archives of General Psychiatry, Archives of Internal Medicine, and Archives of Neurology.

Library of the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).

Natural Medicines

NCI Publications

New England Journal of Medicine
Published by the Massachusetts Medical Society. It is among the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals as well as the oldest continuously published one.

NHS Economic Evaluation Database
Contains bibliographical information and appraisals of economic evaluations in which costs as well as outcomes of treatment and care alternatives in health care are compared. The source of NHSEED are databases like MEDLINE and EMBASE as well as magazines (hand search) and working papers of specialised working groups, and HTA institutions.

NIH RePORTER
Comprehensive funding information for NIH grants and contracts. The information found in RePORTER is drawn from several extant databases–eRA databases, Medline, PubMed Central, the NIH Intramural Database, and iEdison.

OTSeeker
Contains abstracts of thousands of systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials and other resources relevant to occupational therapy interventions. It is designed to help occupational therapists use research evidence about occupational therapy interventions to inform their practice by quickly locating it.

Rehabilitation Measures Database
Helps clinicians and researchers identify reliable and valid instruments used to assess patient outcomes during all phases of rehabilitation. This database is the premier source of literature for sports and sports medicine journals, providing full-text content from many well known and respected sources. A resource for sports and athletic trainers, exercise and fitness instructors, nutritionists, occupational therapists, and health educators.

Comprehensive online delivery platform for scientific documents, including books, journals, reference works, protocols and databases.

Statistical Insight

TOXNET
TOXNET (TOXicology Data NETwork) is a group of databases covering chemicals and drugs, diseases and the environment, environmental health, occupational safety and health, poisoning, risk assessment and regulations, and toxicology.
